Micro-credential: BSBPMG531 Manage project time

"Delivered on schedule..." one of the classic hallmarks of project success. Difficult to do, but well supported by wide range of sophisticated scheduling tools. Delivering a project on-time involves developing the schedule in consultation with team members and other stakeholders, monitoring progress and applying schedule compression techniques when needed, and assessing time management outcomes to identify lessons learned for future projects.

Description

Achieving this micro-credential involves self-paced learning, followed by assessment, and is completed entirely online. A collection of bite-sized videos and online readings provide a foundation of theory, tools, and techniques, which you will put into practice on work-based projects.

To support you in applying the knowledge and skills developed in this course to work based projects, you can use the industry-standard project management templates provided and/or the equivalent template/s used in your organisation.

The relevant documentation from current and past projects, will then be submitted as assessment tasks, along with your answers to knowledge questions, and an optional 3rd party supporting statement. You'll then have a final 30-minute interview with an assessor to walk through your submission and discuss your experience on projects.

Assessment FAQs

Within 10 business days of submitting all of your assessment tasks, your assessor will email you to advise whether your submission was Satisfactory or whether additional evidence/clarification is needed in a resubmission.

Once your submission is assessed as Satisfactory, you will progress to the final stage of the course - a 30 minute assessment interview with your assessor to walk through the evidence (documentation) that you submitted, and talk through some of the underpinning knowledge questions in the context of your work-based projects.

If you are assessed as Competent then a Statement of Attainment will be awarded and the relevant certificates will be emailed to you within 5 working days.

If you are assessed as Not Yet Competent in this unit, then your assessor will provide detailed written feedback and recommendations around how to develop your knowledge, skills, and experience in order to undertake this unit again in the future.
